To help give back to our Santa Fe community in a small way, we are joining #TheFrontStepsProject
As a photographer, I spend hours every week capturing images of beauty in our city and state. So in this time when we can’t go on with our usual work, we are wanting to bring our community together virtually by capturing moments of beauty & documenting this time with five-minute “Front Steps Portraits” of Santa Fe residents.
If you’d like to participate, we will schedule a five minute “Front Step Portraits” - your family, your roommates, your animal companions - anyone in your home is welcome to step outside!
After your quick 5 minute session, we will email you the digital file of your portrait.
In exchange, we are asking you to make a good-faith donation to The Food Depot through this GoFundMe campaign. Participating in this project is an opportunity to help some of those who most need it right now.
I will be posting these images on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #TheFrontStepsProject and #TheFrontStepsProjectSantaFe
Fill out the form to your right to get in touch & to schedule your session.
To respectfully comply with our Governor’s #StayHome order, we will schedule portraits sessions to begin after May 1st and photograph you at the curb from 15’+ back. You can make a donation at anytime.
We want to focus on the faces of our beautiful community during a time when we might not see them in passing at the grocery store, coffee shop, at school, or at the gym.
Process
You will know when we are coming. You can step outside, where we will be standing near your driveway or street, at least 15+ feet away. We will take a couple of quick photos and leave. We physically interact with no one, and touch nothing, during these sessions, as a precaution for you and ourselves.
We do smile and laugh with you, however.
After your quick session, we will email you the digital file of your portrait.
In exchange, we ask you to make a good faith donation to The Food Depot through this GoFundMe campaign.
We will be posting these images on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #thefrontstepsproject and #TheFrontStepsProjectSantaFe
Dress Code
This is not a typical get-dressed-up-and-pose-for-the-photographer session. Want to stand outside in your pajamas and slippers? Sounds good to us. Kids in mismatched clothes but you’re thrilled they got dressed? Fantastic. Wearing your bike gear because you’re headed off to ride a trail in the nice weather? Love it!
“Not all of us can do great things, but we can all do small things with great love.”
